Welcome to Osteo & Co, with directors Dr Courtney Lyons (osteo) and Dr Basil Remboulis (osteo), who work alongside Dr Anna Pattison (osteo) & Dr Lauren Cincotta (osteo)

Established in January 2015, Osteo & Co offers treatment for pain and discomfort in a range of areas, including neck and back pain, joint injuries, muscle strains, sporting injuries and pregnancy related musculoskeletal pain.
We are located at our new purpose built clinic at 228 Wells Road, Chelsea Heights and inside Chelsea Heights Medical Centre on Thames Promenade.

Each individual is unique, so osteopathic treatment will vary from person to person. When you visit our clinic, your osteopath will assess the mobility of problem areas, take a detailed case history, and form a diagnosis to work out the best treatment and management plan for your needs.

Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions.

Diagnosis and treatment is based on the philosophy that the body operates as a total functional unit with all the body systems, like your muscles, nerves and joints, working together to maintain normal function and health. By detecting imbalances within these systems we ensure we are treating the cause and not just the symptoms.

Osteopaths treat more than you think. They focus on how your skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulatory system, connective tissue, and internal organs function as a whole-body unit.

We currently have four qualified osteopaths at Osteo & Co, Chelsea Heights.

Courtney completed her Masters of Osteopathy at Victoria University and has lived in the bayside area for most of her life, other than a 4-year stint in England, where she danced with the Royal Ballet School London. Courtney enjoys treating patients at all stages of life, including children and pregnant women.

After having worked with many young dancers, Courtney has a keen interest in the prevention and management of all sporting injuries. Courtney also has a special interest in neck and back pain, including that of our ageing population.

Courtney has completed further courses in Dry Needling, DMA Clinical Pilates and Rocktaping. Courtney is also a member of Osteopathy Australia.

Outside of work, Courtney loves to travel the world with her husband, read, garden and spend time with her fur babies and daugh ter Olivia.

Dr Basil Remboulis(osteopath & director)

Dr Basil Remboulis (osteopath) joined the team as co-director in February 2019, to help cover Courtney’s maternity leave.

Baz is one of our senior and most experienced osteopaths. In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym, walking his dog Harvey and spending time with his family and daughter Olivia.

Baz has a particular interest in treating complex injuries, to enable patients to better manage their condition and decrease their pain.

Baz works Monday to Friday at our Wells Road clinic, with late night appointments available.

Dr Anna Pattison(osteopath)

Anna also graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (clinical science) and a Masters of Osteopathy. Anna has also furthered her Osteopathic skill set by completing extra training in dry needling and cupping. Her intention is to continue to expand on her knowledge and skills to provide the best treatment for her patients.

Whilst studying osteopathy, Anna doubled as a sports trainer for Werribee Centrals Football and Netball club. Here, she developed a passion for treating and managing sports injuries, for both netball and football players. This provided essential experience working with athletes, allowing Anna to refine her treatment and rehabilitation, enabling a strong focus on return to sport programs tailored to each individual.

Anna has also completed a placement in Mumbai, India. Whilst there Anna spent 4 weeks working alongside orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and radiologists. She observed surgeries, assisted in consultations and helped with the rehabilitation of patients. This rare opportunity has provided her with invaluable knowledge and experience that she has been able to integrate into her work here

Anna is passionate about achieving optimal health for all of her patients through the application of the osteopathic principles- treating the body as a whole. Her friendly and bubbly personality in conjunction with an individualized approach enables her to keep her patients motivated towards healthy living.

Anna is available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Lauren Cincotta(intern osteopath)

Lauren will be graduating as an osteopath from Victoria University in the middle of 2021. It is a requirement of the Osteopathy masters program to complete a minimum number of clinic hours treating patients. Lauren is completing her clinical placement hours at Osteo & Co. She is under the direct supervision of Basil & Courtney during her internship.

Whilst completing her studies she has previously worked for several years as a sports trainer for Yarra Valley Grammar and Casey Demons. This has allowed her to gain valuable experience in sports massage and an exposure to a wide range of injuries.

Lauren has a passion for helping people and enjoys working with patients to tailor each treatment to their individual needs and strive to achieve their goals. Lauren has also completed her matwork pilates certification through Studio Pilates and is completing a myofascial dry needling and cupping course in the upcoming month

Lauren is available on Tuesday and Fridays and consultations are at a discounted rate of $40 (no private health or third party rebates apply)
